Happy Wednesday and welcome back to my blog. Today is our next Brutus/Monroe Inspiration Team Blog Hop. We are showcasing the brand new Brutus/Monroe’s Foiling Sheets and Toner Sheets. I have all the links listed below for you convenience.
I decided to work with our new Sunset foil sheet and our Distress Circles Toner Sheet. This is my first time experimenting with foils. I think I’m going to love creating with these foils. I was having so much fun that I lost track of time. The laminator that I am using is the Royal Sovereign 13”. I have no complaints so far. It heats up quickly and is very quiet while you are foiling. Don’t forget the parchment paper! I used what I had in the kitchen and cut it in-half for an A2 size card.
My first step was the actual foiling of my card. I trimmed the Distress Circles to an A2 size and ran it through the laminator. I cut that sheet into halves and used on part as the bottom of my card. I attached that to another A2 piece of cardstock. The last step for that part of my project was adding our Wagon Surface Ink to all edges.
My main image is from our Super Sentimental stamp set. This set is a must have for your stash. “You are the best” was stamped with Wagon surface ink on white glossy cardstock. I say cardstock, but it was really my photo paper from a very long time ago. It’s glossy and works wonderfully. I have been impressed with our Surface Inks, but you would not believe how well it stamps on glossy cardstock. You get a clean and sharp impression the very first time.
I trimmed the sentiment and the gold mirror cardstock with our Circle Stitched foundation die. The last embellishments were the touch of Nuvo drops and adding gold and red glitter to each one. I did have red enamel dots, Nuvo drops, etc., but I wanted to carry on the sparkle and shine to the finished card.
I hope that you spend some time with our Brutus/Monroe Inspiration Team and leave them a little love. Here is the list:
Thanks for stopping by! See y’all again very soon.
