Welcome back! We, the Aurora Wings Showcase Designers, have some new Aurora Wings digital images. Yes, of course, Mitzi has illustrated a couple of cute sprites, but also gorgeous images called “Remembrance” and “Peony Whisper”.
The sprite that I decided on was the very bashful “Dragon Sprite”. He is so cute and I knew that my Copics were waiting for me. He reminded me of our grandson’s mannerisms.
This cutie took me at least three weeks to finish coloring (back problems). I can now sit with a back brace, so my creative time has now tripled.
When the coloring was complete I cut him out with a frame die. That same die was cut two more times to help frame the sides.
The “hello” die was cut twice and glued together. Before attaching this to my project I glossed it up with glossy accents. After the sentiment was dry, I attached it to my card with foam tape. The last step for the sentiment was some sparkly gems.
My project is complete! Nope, it wasn’t. Something was needed so I added some die cut corners. Now it’s done. After I completed the photography I noticed that it was just a little too top heavy. I should have placed the little guy on the bottom and the “hello” die at the top. Oh well, I’ll remember that next time.
The other new images available are “Hummingbird Sprite”, “Remembrance” and “Peony Whisper”. “Remembrance” and “Peony Whisper” will be beautiful colored with Copics and placed in frames. They both are going to look beautiful on my wall! Check out these coupons. They work at Aurora Wings Etsy store and website “Aurora Wings“.
Thanks for stopping by! Head over the our “Aurora Wings Showcase Blog” and check out what the other designers have created with Mitzi’s new images.
